ERC research projects
European Research Council grants
ERC grants are high-profile grants awarded by the European Research Council to single researchers in order to fund a fundamental research project of their choosing.
The European Research Council (ERC) has various core grant schemes:
- ERC Starting Grant, for scientists at the beginning of their career;
- ERC Consolidator Grant, for scientists who want to establish a research team and develop a success career;
- ERC Advanced Grant, for experienced scientists who want to pursue a ground-breaking, high-risk project;
- ERC Synergy Grant;
- ERC Proof of concept Grant
