Programme objectives
The bachelor’s in political sciences aims at developing your knowledge in the field of political science and at expanding your skills in humanities in general (history, law, economics, etc.).
At the end of the program, you will have acquired:

A knowledge of the various sub-fields in political science;

An opening to other fields that will allow you to analyze political and social issues from different angles and approaches;

An analytical and university reasoning based on methodological rigor;

The bachelor’s in political sciences offers:

An introduction to the various sub-fields in political science: international relations, European studies, comparative politics, public administration and political theory;
-
An opening to other fields in humanities: sociology, history, geography, law, economics, etc.;
-
A solid training in methods: formalization, statistics, methods, and seminars;
-
A strong emphasis on multilingual training: the program includes two mandatory language courses, readings in English in Blocs 1 and 2 and courses in English in Bloc 3. The program can be followed in its bilingual (FR/NL or FR/ANG) or trilingual (FR/NL/ANG) version;

An international opening: international exchanges of 1 semester or 1 year in Bloc 3, and international profile of Faculty and students.

With an additional master’s degree in political science, international relations, public administration, or European studies, graduates of this program will be able to orient their career path to a wide range of jobs in various sectors:

Career in the European sector at the heart of Europe: European civil servant, European institutions or organizations;
