Course content
The course starts from alcanes and presents molecules complexity of which increases. Physical properties are discussed, as well asthermodynamics and kinetics concepts. The mechanisms of the different reactions are also discussed.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Make the student familiar with organic chemistry and his use in every day life. Define basic concepts of the different transformations of organic compounds. Discuss properties of the most common organic functions.
