Course content

basic Latin grammar (morphology, syntax), basic vocabulary with a focus on the way words are formed, methodological guide to translate into French, functioning principles of the Latin language, training in translation into Latin

command of Latin language at basic level, reflexion on the principles of the Latin language development of translation skills

Teaching methods and learning activities

Theoretical lectures about some peculiarities of Latin and about the structure of Latin, exercises to be done on the spot or at home, tests.
