Course content
Fundamental notions applied to reading a classical text (discourses of Cicero) or to a specific topic (slavery, for instance).
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Revision of the core Latin vocabulary and grammar. Exercises in grammatical analysis and translation from and to Latin. Basic notions of syntax and stylistics.

Written exams (language) and oral tests (texts).
Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)
The written exams account for three quarters of the final note, and the oral tests, for the last quarter of it. In case of failure, students are required to retake all examinations.
