Course content
Content Introduction to Palaeography. General history of the Latin script (Late Antiquity, Middle Ages and Renaissance). Notions of codicology and abbreviation systems.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Goal Study of the history of the Latin script from the 1st to the 16th c. The student will learn how to read and correctly transcribe book scripts of the periods under discussion.
