Course content
The theoretical course exemplifies and makes explicit some crucial concepts from the analysis of discourse and of textual linguistics. These notions are revisited in workshops through specific, progressive and contextualised exercises focused on the reading and writing interaction and centred on the practice of summarising (reformulation, summary, and synthesis). The medias used for this course and its exercises are texts about a literary or linguistic case
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Acquisition of the basic linguistic knowledge and scriptural know-how that are crucial to develop comprehension and production competencies - Familiarising students with the specificity of the scientific literature in their field of studies
Teaching methods and learning activities
Theorical courses exemplified and contextualised - Exercises focusing on the personal ownership of the theoretical concepts and their practical implementation
