Course content
This course offers an introduction to General and Comparative Literature, with an emphasis on the principles of comparative methods and analysis. Literary periods, various aspects of the periods or movements, genres and literary forms are studied in a comparative perspective.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Provide an opportunity for selective and varied study of two or more literatures in their relation to one another, in the general context of European art, with an emphasis on the study of a foreign literature in its relationship to an extraliterary discipline, such as visual arts or film.
