Course content
Detailed study of two Shakespearean tragedies (Hamlet & Othello) as well as two Shakespearean comedies (A Midsummer Night's Dream & The Tempest). Students will also be given the opportunity to see excerpts from different versions of the plays studied in class. Students will be required to prepare an additional Shakespeare play of their choice for presentation on the day of the oral exam.

Advanced study of the history of anglophone drama, particularly Shakespearean drama.
