Course content
Study of a theme related to Egyptian archaeology (e. g. Egypt and the deserts; the formation of the Pharaonic State; Urbanism in Pharaonic Egypt).
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Develop a critical research method. Learn to present the results according to the rules of scientific communication, both oral and written. Tackle current problematics of Egyptian archaeology.
Teaching methods and learning activities
Ex-cathedra courses; reading scientific articles and group discussions; individual presentation by students of an aspect of the chosen theme.
