Course content

During the academic year 2012-2013 we'll study the urban mobility : the impact of the transformation of the modes of circulation (walking urban development, increasing the number of cars, arrival of the railroad) on urban space.

  • Understand the changes of urban space in Europe at the turn of modern times and the current consequences

  • Introduce students in comparative history, the interdisciplinary and emerging research trends
