Course content
Syllabus composed of 15 thematic sections;
the very diverse texts range from excerpts from literary works to newspaper articles and works of scientific popularization.
Grammar :active and passive participles. Perfective and imperfective gerunds. Passive constructions. The syntax of complex sentences (juxtaposition, coordination, subordination)
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Being able to discuss the proposed topics (civilisation-related topics) using stylistically different lexicons as well as different syntactic means to express the same idea. Writing essays, transposing texts with specific stylistic connotations into a neutral style

Interactive approach. The study of grammar is based on a series of exercises of observation, comparison, choices, transformation and re-use

Written exam in June covering the second half of the syllabus.
The written exam of the second session covers the material in the entire syllabus.
