Course content
Simple or with equal probabilities random sampling. Stratified sampling. Sampling with unequal probabilities and without replacement. Complex sampling. Estimation of a ratio. Study of domains. Reweighting and calibration. Longitudinal surveys. Non random sampling. Survey methodology.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To introduce the basic principles of the random sampling theory. To study the most classical sampling designs. To present some reflexions about the survey methodology.
