Course content
Analysis of one work from the Greek and one from the Latin literature: textual genre, philological problems, intertextual relationships.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Broadening and increasing the students' knowledge of Greek and Latin literature, continuing the Baccalauréat courses in this topic. Each year a complete work by a different Greek writer and one by a different Latin writer is dealt with in a philological and literary perspective.

Ex cathedra teaching.
References, bibliography, and recommended reading
In the academic year 2024-2025, the texts discussed will belong to the genre of the novel (in Latin: Petronius).

Two different exams, one on the Greek, the other on the Latin text. Both exams must be passed successfully, as neither can compensate for a failure in the other.

Average of both exams, if both passed successfully.
