1. What is macroeconomics?
2. National accountings
3. The goods market
4. The money market and financial markets
5. The IS-LM model
6. The job market
7. Aggregate supply and the synthesis model

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

Objectives include comprehending and applying fundamental concepts. Specifically: national accounting, short-term economic fluctuations, and strategies for managing aggregate demand.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The theoretical course offers a first contact with the subject. The emphasis is on intuitions and basic concepts, as well as links to economic news.

The exercise sessions allow concepts to be developed. It's about going further than intuition and working with the material.
