Course content
This course aims to improvide the active knowledge of the Portuguese grammar and lexicon, as well as the language proficiency throught exercices on listening, reading and speaking. Overview of the cultural context of Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking countries.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To actively command the normative grammar with emphasis on the uses of tenses and moods in context: to have the necessary lexical knowledge to express oneself correctly in Portuguese (both orally and in writen form) in everyday contexts; to be able to read literary texts; to be acquainted with specific cultural elements of the Portuguese speaking countries.

This is an interactive course. Theory is combined with practical exercices. Small groupes.
