Course content

An in-depth study of selected poems of Fernando Pessoa and other portuguese poets.

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

A broad knowledge of Portuguese Poetry (XXth century). To study poetic work of Fernando Pessoa and other portuguese poets. To have an understanding of the poetic work of Fernando Pessoa. To be able to relate the studied work to each other with regard to thematic and formal correspondances and or to be able to point out and discuss differences. To be able to understanding the studied poems and apply a detailed literary analysis.
