Course content

Notions of molecular and cellular biology, notions of genetics, introductions to immunology and oncology, concept of biological evolution, overview of the diversity of living organisms, notions of ecology

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

This course is an introduction to biology. The aim is for students to understand and be able to explain/describe the various fundamental notions developed in the course. For certain clearly identified sections of the course, students should be able to solve problems by applying the knowledge gained by attending the oral presentations.
