Course content
Three parts: alternatively poetry and prose from the classical or archaic/post classical periods.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To present major texts illustrating the ancient Greek culture, from Homer to the imperial period.

Contribution to the teaching profile
To develop knowledge in the languages, literatures and cultures, in particular to master the ancient Greek language and to acquire techniques of analysis and interpretation of texts.

A bibliography is given to the students.

Oral examinations and written examinations for the cursory readings.
Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)
75% for the three oral examinations (25% each) and 25% for the written examination.
