Course content
The assessment of learning is a central theme in education. It is divided into three parts. The first part permits to build a conceptual framework for the assessment of learning. The second part examines the concept of effectiveness in terms of research paradigms related to this issue. The third part attempts to highlight the differences between an objectives-based assessment and a competencies-based assessment.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Building, with students, relevant analytical frameworks likely to equip them during the analysis or construction of evaluations (tests). These analytical frameworks must also permit students to analyze literature in relation with evaluation of learning, whether at the macro than micro level.
