Course content
Commentated readings of articles published during the current year in the French and the English press with reference to the central axes of applied ethics : bioethics, environmental ethics, professional and business ethics. In depth analysis of current events with reference to the fundamental, classical and contemporary theories of applied ethics.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
To raise awareness of and initiate critical and informed reflection on the ethical problems raised by current events, whether they be political, social, economic, medical, and related to the practice of a profession or to a personal situation.
Prerequisites and Corequisites
Cours ayant celui-ci comme co-requis
Teaching methods and learning activities
Course-work, analysis of texts and cases, group discussion.
