Course content
Research seminar on different topics in bioethical theory and applied ethics, varying yearly. Some of the following topics may be considered: narrative ethics, transhumanism, neuroethics, history of bioethics.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Explore some fields of bioethics in order to prepare for doctoral studies and/or professional work in biomedical ethics. To equip the student with a broad conceptual map of the transdisciplinary field of bioethics —a survey of its major areas of inquiry and central concepts, distinctions, methodologies and positions. To deepen its ability to reflect on a bioethical topics.
