Course content

The main objective of this course is to provide students with regular monitoring of their Master thesis work.
The course consists of two parts.
The first consists of writing during the first semester a state of the art around the scientific question of the thesis and describing the objectives and approaches.
The second takes place in the middle of the second semester and will consist of a session, where each student presents the progress of their Master's thesis in seminars in front of the students, director, co-director, and readers. This session provides an opportunity to discuss the literature, technical problems, the structure of the Master thesis and the interpretation of the results. Specific focus is also placed on communication and oral presentation skills (oral presentation, concepts of graphical information, expression, the structure of the talks, and answers to questions....).
