Course content
Explanation, in Dutch, of texts by present-day Dutch authors.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
The course aims not only at providing insight into culture and literary analysis, but also at developing better command of the language itself. The course therefore includes compulsory reading assignments which constitute the basis for conversation classes and essay-writing exercises.
Prerequisites and Corequisites
Cours ayant celui-ci comme co-requis
Teaching methods and learning activities
Ex cathedra lectures in Dutch, mandatory reading assignments, individual conversations on the texts.
