At the end of the course, the students will be able to :

Understand what history can bring to finance ; and finance to history.

Acquire scientific approach in finance

Analyze historical events that bring meaningful insight (speculative bubbles, wars, secessions or repudiations)
Teaching methods and learning activities
ex-cathedra, readings and presentation and discussion of a paper in financial history
