Course content

The subject, which is different every year, concerns the history of late antiquity

In 2017-2018: hagiography and cult of martyrs in Asia Minor

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

To train the student to research by applying the methods of historical criticism to a question of late-antique history

Teaching methods and learning activities

The teacher leads the sessions designed in a participatory manner. Students conduct personal research (heuristics and historiography) whose results are exposed and confronted.
