1. Introduction; 2. The era of revolutions and balance of powers (1776-1878); 3. The era of imperialisms and antagonist alliances (1878-1919/23); 4. The era of fragmentation of the world system and failed attempts of international organization (1919/23-1945/47); 5. The era of decolonization and bipolarity (1945/47-1989/91); 6. The unipolar moment ? (1991-2008)

Deliver to students the basic knowledge about Contemporary International Relations History
Teaching methods and learning activities
Lectures based on one syllabus - Additional readings and/or attendance of an academic conference might be requested from students
