Database Management Systems. History of Database Technology. Entity-Relationship Model. Relational Databases. From Entity-Relationship to Relational Schemas. Relational Algebra. Relational Calculus. SQL. Relational Normalization.

The course prepares students for the tasks of design, implementation, and manipulation of relational databases.
