Course content
Each year a new subject is chosen and divided among the students. For examples: “Charles Burney’s Musical tours in Europe”, “The opera in the 18th Century”, Musical Life in Paris in the 1830”, “Franz Liszt in Belgium and France”, “Eric Satie”, Jean Cocteau, music and dance”, “The Group of Six”, “The Ballets Russes”, “Chamber music at the Libre Esthétique”.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
The purpose is double; first to teach the students how to construct a bibliography on a specific question and second how to approach this subject in order to write a proper paper.

Oral presentation of the subject and also written paper. No specific exams. There is special moment for corrections, so the student will be aware of the reasons of their grade.
