Course content

Description of the content of the courses given to the pharmacy assistant students.

Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)

Insight into the subjects seen by student in secondary schools in the « pharmacy assistant » section. This course is a preparation to the training courses.

Course, interactive exercises and training lessons.

  • To use concepts and knowledge in health and pharmaceutical sciences. To use knowledge in anatomy, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, biochemistry, molecular biology, botany, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, physiology ... in a professional context.- To communicate appropriately, efficiently, clearly and respectfully in a professional context. To adapt his language to his interlocutor (colleague, subcontractor, applicant ...).- To achieve self-assessment of his complete knowledge and to adapt his attitude. To achieve self-assessment of the evolution of professional abilities. To learn about new scientific advances using appropriate research tools.* In any field related to professional practice.* In-service training (conferences, symposia, conferences, seminars).- To adapt his attitude to any change in the employment context.

At least 2 lessons on a subject typically taught to secundary schools students.

Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)

The mark comes from the evaluation of interactive exercises and lessons during the examinations, and depends on the following criteria: oral expression adapted to high school students, writing on the blackboard, quality of the educational approach of subject and didactic support(s) provided.

The presence at the exercises organized within the framework of this teaching unit is mandatory. The student must attend at least 75% of activities (maximum 25% of justified absence).
