Course content

Training courses are divided into 3 phases: (1) observation of teachers in schools, (2) preparation of the lessons with the mentors and (3) presentations of the lessons. The training must be done in at least two schools of the "Communauté française de Belgique".

Learning to teach in real conditions.

Observation and work in schools.

Contribution to the teaching profile

  • To use concepts and knowledge in health and pharmaceutical sciences. To use knowledge in anatomy, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, biochemistry, molecular biology, botany, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, physiology ... in a professional context.- To communicate appropriately, efficiently, clearly and respectfully in a professional context. To adapt his language to his interlocutor (colleague, subcontractor, applicant ...).- To achieve self-assessment of his complete knowledge and to adapt his attitude. To achieve self-assessment of the evolution of professional abilities. To learn about new scientific advances using appropriate research tools.* In any field related to professional practice.* In-service training (conferences, symposia, conferences, seminars).- To adapt his attitude to any change in the employment context.

General appreciation of the student’s skills developed during the training course.

Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)

The evaluation is made by the Master of training course.

The grade results from the evaluation of the performances of the student and depends on the quality of the following elements: oral expression adapted to the students of the secondary schools, writing quality on the board, the quality of the educational approach of the subject and support supplied.
