Course content
This course aims at offering a presentation of the different clinical conceptions which specifically rest on the institutional outline. From a historical point of view, it will offer an analysis of the evolution of these practices since institutional psychotherapy. From a clinical and theoretical point of view, it will concentrate on the principal matters allowing to enlighten this type of practice: The framework and modalities of intervention, the type of patients and of pathologies concerned, the modalities for the evaluation of practice, the larger institutional context (particularly functioning in networks), etc.
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Open up a forum for debate and critical reflection on the foundations, the modalities of construction, the difficulties, the deadlocks and the relevancy of clinical practices which specifically rest on the institutional outline.
Teaching methods and learning activities
Oral presentation resting largely on clinical examples and invitation of practitioners and experts leaving large opportunity to questions and debate.
