Course content
Syllabus that includes twenty topics on various aspects of everyday situations. The emphasis is on the : complex aspects of discourse structure, comparative and superlative forms, short and full forms of adjectives, verbs of movement, gerunds, participles
Objectives (and/or specific learning outcomes)
Acquisition of grammatical and lexical skills to discuss everyday topics. Development of the ability to write an application letter, a narrative etc.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Interactive method.Readingand translation of texts, weekly practical work for the assimilation of intermediate level grammar and lexicon and contributing to acquiring skills.

Written exam in January covering the first half of the Syllabus.
Written exam in June covering the second half of the Syllabus.
The written exam of the second session covers the material in the entire Syllabus.
Mark calculation method (including weighting of intermediary marks)
The final grade consists of the average of the two exam grades.
The grade is calculated based on the number of errors, the amount of knowledge and the quality of writing.
