The "Welcome Week for New Students‧es" (SANE24) will be held from Thursday 12 to Monday 16 September 2024.

The 2024 Welcome Week for New Students (SANE) at ULB is your chance to discover the university environment. Whether you are a Bachelor's, Master's or international student, we invite you from 12 to 16 September to meet the University authorities, discover the general services, visit the campuses and the information stands of the folklore circles and student offices, enjoy numerous cultural and festive activities and, of course, take the first courses of the programme in which you are enrolled.

As we all know, discovering a new environment is not always easy, and the SANE is there to help you take your first steps into the university world.

Welcome Week program for new students

Thursday 12 September

On the Solbosch campus

Welcome and information sessions :

  • 10am-11am: for new bachelors and masters - Auditoire Janson (Bâtiment J)
  • 11.15am-12.15pm: for new bachelors and masters - Auditoire Janson (Bâtiment J)
  • 2pm-3pm: for international students - Auditoire La Fontaine (Bâtiment K)

Activities :
  • 10am-4pm: village with information stands on student services, clubs and offices - Parking Janson
  •  3pm-5pm: concerts - Lawn of the Janson car par
Guided tours of the Solbosch and Erasmus campuses.

Friday 13 September

  • Faculty welcome in certain faculties 
  • Teaching activities in some faculties 
  • PASM tests in some faculties 
  • Start of the academic year 
  • TD on the Place de Brouckère

Monday 16 September 

On the Erasme campus

  • Information on the Health Centre
